TREATMENT
On the second visit, if the doctor and patient agree that chiropractic care is appropriate, treatment may consist of a variety of techniques depending on the nature and location of the misalignment. Along with spinal adjustments, the doctor may also recommend therapeutic exercises and changes in nutrition.
EDUCATION
Education is an important ingredient in the healing process. Patients and their families are encouraged to attend a special spinal care workshop where they can learn to participate intelligently in their health care. This workshop is free and family members are encouraged to attend, as well. From this session, patients gain an understanding of how to help themselves and their family members be well.
